Dhaka, Nov 27 (V7N)- A delegation from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), led by Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, met with the Chief Advisor of the interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, at the state guest house, Jamuna, on Wednesday evening.

The meeting, which began at 6:00 PM, included discussions on the current political climate, reform initiatives, the electoral roadmap, and preparations for the upcoming national elections.

Alongside Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, the delegation comprised senior BNP standing committee members, including Mirza Abbas, Nazrul Islam Khan, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Salahuddin Ahmed, and Dr. Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain.

According to BNP sources, the party aimed to address pressing national concerns during the meeting. Topics such as the implementation of electoral reforms, the interim government's role in ensuring a free and fair election, and pathways to political stability were expected to be on the agenda.

The BNP delegation arrived at Jamuna shortly before the meeting commenced, signaling the party's proactive engagement with the interim administration during this crucial transitional phase for the country.
