Dhaka, Dec 01 (V7N) — The White Paper Formulation Committee has handed over the much-anticipated white paper on the country's economy to Nobel Laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus. The document, presented on Sunday, was handed over by the committee's chief, economist Dr. Debapriya Bhattacharya.

The white paper covers a comprehensive review of the country's economic activities over the past 15 years. Key highlights include:

Government initiatives and development project expenditures.

Use and management of foreign loans.

Discrepancies in financial data, including GDP and inflation figures.

Concerns over transparency in budget implementation and revenue collection.

Alleged mismanagement and looting within the banking sector.
