Dhaka, Dec 10 (V7N) – The 11th bilateral defence dialogue between Bangladesh and the United States is set to commence tomorrow, December 11, in Hawaii, according to a press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
A Bangladeshi delegation, led by Brig Gen Md Alimul Amin, Director General of Armed Forces Division (Operations and Plans), will represent the country in the discussions. The dialogue, aimed at enhancing mutual military cooperation, will conclude on December 12.
The meeting will cover a range of topics, including global and regional security, defence technology and equipment, disaster management, peacekeeping operations, training programs, joint military exercises, workshops, and other collaborative efforts.
The delegation comprises senior officials from Bangladesh's Army, Navy, Air Force, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Coast Guard, the release further noted.
