Dhaka, Dec 12 (V7N)- In a discussion with journalists at the Secretariat on Thursday, Environment, Forest, and Climate Advisor Syeda Rizwana Hasan stated that both India and Bangladesh desire normal relations, emphasizing that India's relationship should be with Bangladesh as a whole, not with any specific political party.
Advisor Rizwana explained that the people of Bangladesh have clearly expressed their opposition to a certain ruler, and noted that a neighboring country has provided shelter to this ousted leader. She mentioned that the people of Bangladesh will continue to voice their discontent against this development.
She reiterated that Bangladesh aims for a strong and positive relationship with India, one that focuses on the country's interests, rather than aligning with any particular party. Rizwana expressed optimism, stating that the relations between the two countries are progressing in a good direction.
