Khulna, Jan 03 (V7N)— Shipping Advisor Brigadier General (Retd) M Sakhawat Hossain expressed concern over the nation's current state, stating that comprehensive reforms will be challenging for both the interim and next governments. He made these remarks during the golden jubilee celebration of Khulna Government Sundarban Adarsh College on Friday morning.

Addressing the audience, he said, “The sacrifices made by the young generation will not go in vain. As long as I am here, I will strive to contribute to the betterment of the country and its people.” He highlighted ongoing issues of terrorism and extortion in the country and urged societal leaders to unite and resist such criminal activities.

Referring to the infamous "mirror house," the advisor commented, “The mirror house was not limited to the cantonment; it existed in universities, hotels, and homes as well. People are aware of only one such location, but soon, the full extent will be revealed.”

The event marked the 50th anniversary of the prestigious Khulna Government Sundarban Adarsh College, bringing together alumni, students, and dignitaries to reflect on the institution’s legacy and the nation's future challenges.
