Dhaka, Mar 27 (V7N) – Tonight marks Shab-e-Qadr, one of the holiest nights in Islam, which is described in the Quran as "better than a thousand months." On this sacred night, Muslims across Bangladesh will engage in prayers, Quran recitation, Dhikr (remembrance of Allah), and supplications seeking Allah’s mercy and blessings.
To commemorate Shab-e-Qadr, the Bangladesh government has declared Friday a public holiday. Special waz mahfils, religious sermons, and collective prayers are being held in mosques nationwide, including the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram.
Additionally, Bangladesh Television, private TV channels, Bangladesh Betar, and private radio stations are broadcasting special programs to mark the occasion. Newspapers are also publishing articles highlighting the significance of this blessed night.
May this holy night bring peace, blessings, and forgiveness to all those who seek Allah’s mercy.
