The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has issued a forecast indicating the likelihood of rain or thunder showers in Dhaka, Khulna, and Barishal divisions over the course of this week.

According to a bulletin released by the Met office, the weather is expected to remain dry with temporary partly cloudy skies across the country for the initial 24 hours starting from 9:00 am yesterday.

However, rain or thunder showers are anticipated in Khulna and Barishal divisions tomorrow, while the rest of the country may experience dry weather with temporary partly cloudy skies.

Additionally, the BMD predicts rain or thunder showers in Khulna, Barishal, and Dhaka divisions, along with the Cumilla and Noakhali regions, over the 24-hour period beginning from 9:00 am on Thursday.

During this period, the weather is expected to remain dry with temporary partly cloudy skies in other parts of the country. Day and night temperatures are forecasted to remain relatively unchanged nationwide.

Yesterday, Rangamati recorded the highest temperature in the country at 33.8 degrees Celsius, while Sitakundu in Chattogram reported the lowest temperature at 13.2 degrees Celsius today.
