Following a morning of intense heat, Dhaka experienced a slight drop in temperature as several areas in the city witnessed light rainfall accompanied by gusty winds on Tuesday afternoon. The rain brought relief to those observing Ramadan, offering a respite from the oppressive heat. Despite cloudy skies throughout the day, the morning began with high temperatures, leaving the capital sweltering in humid conditions. However, as the day progressed, cloud cover increased, culminating in dark skies by around 2:30 pm. Rainfall commenced at approximately 2:45 pm, accompanied by strong winds that drenched the streets of Dhaka. While the rain provided relief, it also caused inconvenience for many leaving their workplaces. Reports of rainfall came in from various areas including Sukrabad, Zigatola, Panthapath, Moghbazar, Old Dhaka, Motijheel, Kakrail, Puran Paltan, Shantinagar, and Malibagh in the capital.
