Dhaka, Mar 03 (V7N) — Biman Bangladesh Airlines has suspended all flights on six key Middle East routes indefinitely due to ongoing regional instability. The affected destinations include Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Dammam, Doha, and Kuwait, according to an emergency notice issued by the airline on Tuesday (March 3).
Passengers booked on the affected routes have been advised to contact the nearest Biman sales center or travel agency. Additional support is available via the airline’s helplines at 13636 or +88 096109 13636. The airline stated that any updates will be communicated promptly.
Airport sources reported that 39 flights were canceled on Tuesday alone, bringing the total number of canceled flights over the past five days to 148. The suspension of these flights comes amid broader disruptions in Middle Eastern airspace caused by escalating regional conflicts.
Authorities and airline officials are closely monitoring the situation to ensure passenger safety and provide timely updates on rescheduled services.
