Dhaka, Mar 06 (V7N) – The airspace of several Middle Eastern countries remains closed due to the ongoing state of war, forcing Biman Bangladesh Airlines to suspend multiple flights. As of Friday noon, 33 additional flights to the region have been canceled, bringing the total cancellations over the past seven days—from last Saturday to today—to 245 flights.
An emergency notice from Biman stated that flights to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Dubai, Doha, Kuwait, and Dammam have been temporarily suspended. Operations on these routes will remain halted until further notice. Flights to other Middle Eastern destinations, including Jeddah, Medina, Riyadh, and Muscat, continue as scheduled.

Passengers scheduled on the affected flights are advised to contact the airlines for rescheduling and refunds. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation in coordination with regional aviation authorities as the conflict continues to disrupt air travel.
