Individuals varying in age took a dip in the sea's salted water. While some people ride horses on the beach to enjoy the view of the ocean, others cruise the shoreline on beach and water bikes. Others are enjoying themselves with a kitkot (chair-umbrella) in the azure sea that reaches the horizon.
 
Some people are documenting these joyous moments with their loved ones while standing on the beach. Tourists have been spotted having fun and colouring the sea this way on New Year's Day.
 
Bengali New Year 1431 was celebrated in the morning with a variety of events. Thus, in honour of Pahela Boishakh, millions of tourists began strolling down the Cox's Bazar beach early on Sunday, April 14. 
 
At least two lakh visitors are expected to stay in Cox's Bazar to celebrate Bengali New Year, according to travel sources.
 
Tourists began arriving in Kalatali, Sugandha, and Labani spots on the beach in the morning after visiting the beach. As the day wore on, more people arrived. According to beach officials, at least lakhs of people congregate on the five-kilometer beach from Kalatali to Labani Point starting in the early hours of the day.
 
Travellers swarm the beaches of Daryanagar, Himachari, Inani, Patuartek, and Teknaf outside the city, which are accessible by the Cox's Bazar-Teknaf Marine Drive. This route leads by a number of interesting locations, such as mountains, springs, and natural caverns, in addition to the beach.
 
In addition, Sagar Dwip Maheshkhali and Sonadia, Ramu Buddha Vihar, and Chakria Dulahajara Bangabandhu Safari Park have seen a surge in visitors. The blockage of maritime channels prevents tourists from visiting St. Martin, despite their strong desire to do so.
 
A tourist from Sylhet named Sohanur Rahman walked down to the shore with his family. cruising the sea on a jet ski and floating in a tube in waist-deep water. He sat on the bench with a chair-umbrella after thirty minutes. Another traveller, Mazhar, claimed that people go to Cox's Bazar to get soaked in salt water during the Eid and New Year vacations.
 
Manager of the Kalatali Hotel Bay-Marina, Rafiq Ullah, stated that nearly every room at the hotel is reserved starting the day following Eid. However, the scorching temperature poses a challenge for vacationers. Still, a large number of people visited Cox's Bazar. 
 
Reopening offices and institutions will ease the load.
"On the one hand, many tourists are coming to the tourist city due to the Eid holidays and Pahela Baisakh," stated Abdur Rahman, director of Sandy Hotel and Restaurant. To the best of our abilities, we are attempting to assist them.
 
The Cox's Bazar Tour Operators Association's general secretary, Nurul Kabir Pasha, stated, "Cox's Bazar has been redesigned to attract tourists." Hotel chains, motels, and tourism destinations have all received special discounts. 
 
Apple Mahmud, an additional DIG of the Cox's Bazar Tourist Police, stated, "A large number of visitors have been guaranteed uninterrupted security for 24 hours a day." The perpetrators of any harassment of a visitor will face swift consequences.
 
Under this situation, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Shaheen Imran stated, "The hotel has been instructed to hang the list of room rent." The district government is attempting to prevent any further rent from being collected using a number of mobile courts.
 
If the hotel charges more than the lodging rate, action will be taken against the concerned parties.
