For a private meeting with her Thai colleague Srettha Thavisin, Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived at Government House, the Thai Prime Minister's Office, this morning.
 
In a stolid ceremony, the prime minister of Bangladesh was met by the prime minister of Thailand.
 
The two leaders would talk about matters of mutual interest, both bilaterally and regionally, during their bilateral encounter. The two prime ministers would then sign a series of bilateral agreements to further cement their collaboration.
 
There will be a tete-a-tete (one-on-one meeting) between the two leaders as well.
 
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh was greeted warmly at the front lawn of the Thai Kooh Fah Building at the Government House upon her arrival, with a red carpet being rolled out.
 
The prime minister of Bangladesh examined the guard of honour provided by a well-groomed detachment of Thai military personnel.
 
Sheikh Hasina signed the Government House visitor book when Srettha Thavisin presented her to his cabinet colleagues.
 
A formal luncheon would be attended by Sheikh Hasina prior to her departure from the Government House.
The premier of Bangladesh came here on Wednesday, April 24, for a six-day official visit to Thailand at her Thai counterpart's request.
