In Khulna and its neighboring districts, the degree of heat burn is increasing day by day. The pitch of the road is melting somewhere in the extreme heat. According to the Meteorological Office, the intense heat will continue for a few more days.

On the other hand, the people who toiled in the scorching heat of the intense heat have suffered the most. If you don't work, you won't have enough food in your stomach. These people are forced to work because of the burning heat of the stomach. Passing a miserable life.

Nazrul Islam Hawladar (55), a day laborer working on a road in Muzgunni area of the city in the scorching heat, said, "Who works in this scorching heat without scarcity?" I came to work because of scarcity. There are 9 people in the household with wife Polapan, Pola's wife. I am alive by eating some kind of dal rice.

Bilkis Begum (55), a female day laborer working on the road, said, "I am working on the road with so much heat because of my stomach." I don't want to work in such heat. There are 6 people in the family.

Abdul Quader, a rickshaw driver on the Fulbarigate Quet road. Age 65 years. He drove a rickshaw on this road for 20 years. He said to this reporter, old man, I have become weak. Still having to drive a rickshaw in this heat because of stomach. Never felt so hot in my life before. There are 4 breadwinners in the family with wife, son and daughter. Income has decreased.

Van driver Abul Kalam. Age 67 years. Family members with wife and children are 3 people. Phulbarigate drove a van on Quet Road for 47 years. Abul Kalam said, 47 years of fear have not seen such heat.

Mejba, a 39-year-old construction worker who works in Mujgunni area of the city, said that life is getting out of hand to work in this summer. But there is no way without work.

Parveen, a day laborer working on a city road in the scorching heat, said, I have a family with 3 daughters and a husband. I live in a rented house in Khalishpur with a rent of 2 thousand taka. Husband is sick, can't work.
