Biman Bangladesh Airlines, the national carrier, has announced the suspension of all flights to Cox's Bazar for Sunday, May 26, due to Cyclone Remal.
Additionally, flights BG395 and BG391 to Kolkata will be suspended on Sunday and Monday, respectively, according to Bosra Islam, general manager of the Public Relations Wing of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) issued a directive on Sunday morning for the Payra and Mongla maritime ports to hoist great danger Signal 10. Concurrently, Chattogram and Cox's Bazar ports have been advised to display danger signal no 9.
