Dhaka, July 27 (V7N)- On Saturday, (July 27) morning, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited Setu Bhaban to assess the damage from recent attacks during the student-led quota reform movement. Arriving around 10 a.m., she examined the vandalized floors and building interiors.

Accompanied by Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader and senior Ministry officials, Hasina was briefed on the destruction, including the arson that burned numerous parked vehicles.

On July 18, a group of 250-300 individuals stormed Setu Bhaban, damaging vehicles, motorbikes, and various facilities before setting them on fire. They also assaulted employees, with around 50 vehicles destroyed in the attack.

Earlier, Hasina visited Pongu Hospital to check on the injured victims from the incident.
