Dhaka, Aug 02 (V7N) - The Anti-Discrimination Students’ Movement has announced a nationwide prayer and mass procession on Friday, (Aug 02) to emphasize their 9-point demand.
 
The event was detailed in a press release issued by Abdul Kader, a coordinator of the movement.
 
The campaign will honor those who were martyred, injured, arrested, or participated in the movement. According to the release, following the Ju’ma prayers at mosques, there will be prayers and visits to the graves of the martyrs. Additionally, prayers will be conducted at temples and churches.
 
The day will culminate in a mass procession involving students and the general public, the release stated.
 
“I urge all citizens of Bangladesh, including workers, professionals, cultural activists, media personnel, human rights advocates, intellectuals, and scholars, to join together and make tomorrow’s ‘Prayers and Mass Procession’ a resounding success,” Kader stated in the release.
