The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has issued a forecast for light to moderate rainfall, with some areas experiencing moderately heavy to heavy showers and temporary gusty winds across all eight divisions of the country. This weather pattern is expected to begin from 9 am today and continue over the next 24 hours.

The bulletin indicates that light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by gusty winds, are likely in most parts of Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions. Many areas in Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Dhaka divisions will also see similar conditions, while Rajshahi division will experience showers at a few locations. Moderately heavy to very heavy rainfall is anticipated at various spots across the country.

Temperatures are expected to slightly drop during the day, with night temperatures remaining relatively stable.

On Wednesday, the highest temperature recorded was 35.4 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi, while today's lowest temperature was 24.5 degrees Celsius in Bandarban.

In the past 24 hours, Ramgati in Chattogram division reported 44 mm of rainfall.

In Dhaka, the sun will set at 6:38 pm today and rise at 5:31 am tomorrow.
