Dhaka, Aug 23 (V7N): The Bangladesh Army has donated the equivalent of one day's salary from all its members to the Chief Adviser's Relief Fund to aid those affected by the widespread flooding across Bangladesh.
In a statement on their verified Facebook page, the Bangladesh Army announced that the donation is intended to support victims of the ongoing flash floods that have severely impacted the districts of Feni, Chittagong, Comilla, Noakhali, Sunamganj, and Habiganj.
Various units of the Bangladesh Army are actively engaged in rescue missions in the flood-affected areas. They are distributing food and essential supplies and airlifting individuals stranded in locations inaccessible by other means.
Additionally, army medical teams are on the ground, providing treatment to flood victims in several affected regions.
