The conflict between Myanmar's military and armed rebel groups continues. There are shooting incidents every day. This is having an impact inside the border of Bangladesh. Cornered in such a situation, Myanmar soldiers are fleeing to Bangladesh one after another.

On Wednesday (February 7) around 12noon, members of the Myanmar BGP entered through the Teknaf Hoikong border point in Cox's Bazar.

From the ongoing conflict in Myanmar, 63 BGP members of that country's border guard force are entering the Teknaf border through Hoikung. They have been taken into BGB custody. It can be seen that the BGP members fled amid heavy firing going on across the border.

327 members of Myanmar's security forces have taken refuge in Bangladesh so far.
