Dhaka, Sept 7 (V7N): Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus paid a visit to the National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital in Dhaka on Saturday to check on the individuals critically injured during the recent student-led protests.

Yunus inquired about the health of the victims who sustained severe injuries caused by security forces during the student movement in July and August. Among the injured, at least eleven people, including eight university and college students, are receiving treatment at the hospital.

According to Dr. Kazi Deen Mohammad, the hospital's director, Yunus specifically checked on four students being treated in the Intensive Care Unit. "All four suffered bullet wounds to the head. Thankfully, their conditions are improving," said the director.

Badrul Alam, the institute's joint director, along with senior physicians, was present during the visit.
