July 5 (V7N)- Japanese technology investor SoftBank Group (9984.T) has recently engaged in discussions with banks regarding the potential borrowing of funds to invest up to $10 billion in energy-related projects, according to a report by The Information on Thursday.
 
The report, which cites a person with direct knowledge of the discussions, indicates that SoftBank is considering securing capital for these power-related investments through bank loans and by attracting additional investors.
 
As of now, SoftBank has not responded to a request for comment from Reuters.
