In response to the ongoing heat wave, the Bangladesh government has stepped in to help low-income residents in the Rajshahi metropolitan city. Awami League Health and Population Sub-Committee Member Dr. Anika Farhana Zaman Orna distributed food packages to more than 300 people in an event organized at Rajshahi Medical College's Dr. Kaiser Rahman Chowdhury Auditorium on Monday (April 29th).

The food package distributed on the instructions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina includes 1 kg of sugar powder, 2 kg of rice, 1 kg of lentils, 1 kg of sugar, 1 kg of vermicelli, 1 kg of various daily necessities. flour, 2 liters of soybean oil and 500 grams of dates.

Dr. Orna stated, "This intense heat is hurting us all." "Workers of the Bangladesh Chhatra League are planting trees in accordance with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's directives, and Awami League and its affiliated organizations are distributing syrup and water. At ten separate locations, Rajshahi City Corporation offers saline and pure water as well as health treatment. As for me, I support the people in accordance with the Prime Minister's directives. More than three hundred low-income individuals received food supplies today. I will be hanging out with these folks in the future.
Dr. Arna emphasized the importance of health awareness during heat waves. "Due to the intense heat wave, we need to be health conscious. Avoid eating out, wear light clothing, carry an umbrella and water bottle when going out, drink plenty of water and be overall alert."
