Dhaka, August 19 — In a shocking incident, a group of individuals stormed the EastWest Media Limited complex, owned by Bashundhara Group, around 3 PM today. The attackers, reportedly shouting slogans, caused significant damage to the complex.

The offices of "Dainik Kale Kantha" and "Radio Capital," both under the Bashundhara Group, were specifically targeted in the attack. Several cars parked in front of the complex were also vandalized.

The EastWest Media Complex, located in Dhaka, houses the offices of several prominent media outlets, including Dainik Kale Kantha, Dainik Bangladesh Pratidin, News Twenty Four, The Sun, T Sports, Bangla News Twenty Four, and Radio Capital.

Authorities are investigating the motive behind the attack and the identity of the perpetrators. No injuries have been reported so far, but the incident has raised concerns about the safety and security of media establishments in the country.
