Dhaka, Dec 29 (V7N) — The subcontinental high-pressure area continues to extend over West Bengal and its adjoining regions, while the seasonal low-pressure area is situated over the southern Bay of Bengal, with its influence reaching the northeastern Bay of Bengal.

As per the Bangladesh Meteorological Department's 72-hour forecast starting from 9 a.m. on Sunday, the country's weather is expected to remain mainly dry with partly cloudy skies.

Key Highlights:

Fog: Light to moderate fog may form in some parts of the country from late tonight to early morning.

Temperature: A slight drop in both day and night temperatures is anticipated on Monday.

Tuesday's Weather: The skies are likely to remain partly cloudy with dry conditions. Fog may persist in some areas during midnight to early morning hours.

Extended Forecast: Night and day temperatures are expected to decrease further over the next five days.

Residents are advised to prepare for cooler conditions and exercise caution during foggy periods, particularly during nighttime and early morning travel.
