Dhaka, Feb 26 (V7N)- A mild earthquake was felt in various parts of Bangladesh, including the capital Dhaka, at 12:04 pm on Thursday (February 26), causing brief panic among residents.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS) and the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, the earthquake measured 4.8 magnitude on the Richter scale.
Epicenter in Sikkim
The epicenter was located in Sikkim, India, about 455 kilometers northwest of Dhaka, officials said.
