The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted rain or thundershowers across all eight divisions over the next 24 hours, starting from 9 am today.

According to the BMD, "Rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind, are likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions. Additionally, rain is expected at a few places over Dhaka and Chattogram divisions, and at one or two places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions, with hails possible at isolated locations within the next 24 hours, starting from 9 am tomorrow."

Mild to moderate heatwave conditions persist over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, and Barishal divisions, but may abate from most areas. Day temperatures are expected to decrease by 1-3 degrees Celsius, while night temperatures may slightly increase across the country.

On Sunday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 40.3 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga, while the minimum temperature today was 19.7 degrees Celsius in Sylhet.

In the last 24 hours until 6 am today, Srimangal received the highest rainfall of 124mm.

The sun is scheduled to set at 6:30 PM today and rise at 5:21 AM tomorrow in the capital.
