A Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) bulletin released for 24 hours starting at 9 am on tuesday predicted rain or thundershowers to occur at a few locations over Khulna division and at one or two sites over Dhaka division.

"The countrywide weather is expected to stay mostly dry with occasional cloud cover in other areas. It further stated that throughout late night to early morning, moderate to thick fog may form over the river basins and light to moderate fog elsewhere in the nation.

The advisory stated that the current mild to moderate cold wave, which is affecting the districts of Gopalgonj, Naogaon, Moulavibazar, and Feni as well as the Rangpur division, may weaken in some areas.

The country may see a small increase in day and nighttime temperatures.

Sitakunda recorded the nation's highest temperature of 27.5 degrees Celsius on Monday, while Tetulia recorded the lowest temperature of 7.6 degrees Celsius today.

In the capital, the sun rises at 6:41 am tomorrow and sets at 5:43 pm on Tuesday.
