Dhaka, Sep 29 (V7N): In a coordinated operation, joint forces comprising RAB, police, and army personnel arrested 35 individuals, including a suspected drug dealer named "Picchi Raza," from the Geneva Camp in Dhaka’s Mohammadpur area on Sunday.

According to an ISPR press release, the operation followed a recent gunfight between two groups at the Geneva Camp, which resulted in one death. During the raid, the joint forces seized a variety of weapons and narcotics.

The confiscated items included two pistols, 20 bullets, six axes, 39 knives, 16 sharp weapons, eight machetes, 12 packets of splinters, 53 petrol bombs, and 50 helmets.

"Picchi Raza" and his associates are reportedly involved in drug trafficking and were linked to an armed conflict between two gangs at the camp, during which firearms were allegedly stolen from local police on August 5.
