Ukhiya, july 3 (V7N)- A Rohingya man was allegedly slaughtered in Kutupalong Rohingya Camp in Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar. With the cooperation of the camp administration, Ukhiya police recovered the body and sent it to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital for an autopsy, confirmed Shamim Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ukhiya Police Station.
 
The deceased, Noor Mohammad (31), also known as Maulvi Noor Mohammad, was the son of Oli Ahmed and a resident of Block D-4, Extension 4, Kutupalong Rohingya Camp in Ukhiya. The incident occurred early Wednesday morning (July 3) in Block D of Extension 4 in the camp.
 
Reports indicate that a group of Rohingya terrorists abducted Noor Mohammad from his residence early Wednesday morning and slaughtered him. After the murder, they left his body on a nearby hill.
 
OC Shamim Hossain of Ukhiya Police Station stated that the body was recovered and sent to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital for an autopsy. The situation in the camp is currently stable.
