Bagerhat, Nov 23 (V7N)- The 133rd advent festival of Srimad Durgaprasanna Paramahansdev, founder of the Sanatan religion and religious guru of Sriguru Sangha, was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Morelganj, Bagerhat. The occasion included a cloth distribution program, a colorful procession, and a discussion meeting.

BNP leader Kazi Khairuzzaman Shipon attended as the chief guest at the cloth distribution and procession event, which began around 11 am. Later, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Nazmul Islam joined as the special guest in the discussion meeting.

The event was chaired by Asim Karmakar, convenor of the festival celebration committee, with Deepak Karmakar, the member secretary, moderating the session. Several dignitaries participated in the procession, including Upazila BNP convener Shahidul Haque Babul, former councilor Shankar Kumar Roy, and BNP leaders Farooq Hossain Samad, Matiur Rahman Bachchu, Asaduzzaman Milan, and lecturer Russell Al Islam.

The festival showcased unity and devotion, drawing attendees from various walks of life to celebrate the teachings and legacy of Srimad Durgaprasanna Paramahansdev.
