NARSINGDI: A nine-day Amar Ekushey book fair begins on local Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Municipal Park.

The district commissioner of Narsingdi arranged several events, including an open-air discussion meeting at the Ekushe Book Fair at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Municipal Park (next to Shiksha Chatwar) on Wednesdat at 4:00 p.m. and an open-air event at the book fair at 6:00 p.m.
The district administration of Narsingdi Govt College operates with the slogan "Read a book, average country.

A nine-day book fair was arranged by Narsingdi and held in Bangabandhu Municipal Park, which is located next to Government College.
The book expo was opened in the afternoon by Lt Col. Mohammad Nazrul Islam Hiru Bir Pratik, the MP for Narsingdi Sadar Constituency.

The main visitor was A FM Hayat Ullah, the Kabi Nazrul Institute's Executive Director (Grade 1).
The discussion conference began with a welcoming statement from Md. Mostafizur Rahman PPM, Superintendent of Police of Narsingdi; Prof. Mostak Ahmed Bhuiyan, Principal of Narsingdi Government College; Dr. Badiul Alam, District Magistrate; and Md. Mostafa Manwar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General).

Muhammad Nazrul Islam Hiru Vir Prateek, a parliament member, said during the chief guest's speech: "The "People's Republic of Bangladesh" became an independent state because of the brave and fearless language soldiers—Salam, Barkat, Rafiq, Jabbar, and others—who fought for the rights of their mother tongue."

I have never witnessed a book fair this size in Narsingdi on the anniversary of the great martyr. The Deputy Commissioner of Narsingdi has this reason. To Badiul Alam, many thanks. Because, via the organization of this book fair, he has brought in a new era to Narsingdi's cultural arena.
