In the Rohingya settlement of Teknaf, Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, a young Rohingya man was fatally stabbed. Nevertheless, in Ukhia, a cousin murdered an older brother.

Shayed Karim (46), son of Nidania Abul Kasem of Ukhiya Jaliya Palang, and D Noor Mohammad (30) were the deceased Rohingya Nayapara Registered Block of Teknaf residents.

In the D block water tank of the Nayapara registered camp in Teknaf, the event happened on Tuesday, February 27, at around 9:30 am. at around 10:30 am on the same day.
North Nidania Tetultala in Jaliapalong Union of Ukhia is the alleged location of the incident.

A Rohingya man named Noor Mohammad (30) was making his way to his home on Tuesday morning at around 9:30 am, according to information provided by Officer-in-Charge (OC) Muhammad Osman Gani of the Teknaf Model Police Station. His home was located in front of the water tank of D Block in the D Block of the Nayapara Registered Camp of Teknaf. Run away after getting stabbed.

Subsequently, the locals pulled the man from the area and brought him to the Bazar Sadar Hospital in Cox, where he passed away.
However, it is known that at a location known as North Nidania Tetultala in Jaliapalong Union of Ukhiya, his cousin Chalamat Ullah fatally killed his older brother Chayed Karim.

The deceased Chayed Karim (46) is the son of Abul Kashem of Nidania village of Jaliapalong union in Ukhia.

Ukhia Police Station said that on Tuesday (February 27) around 10:30 am, his cousin stabbed his elder brother Chayed Karim in Jaliapalong Nidania village and he was seriously injured.

Upon his rescue and transfer to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital, the attending physician pronounced him deceased. Right now, the body is in Sadar Hospital.  
Police stated that if there was a complaint about this occurrence, legal action would be taken.

Two kids drowned after falling into a pond in Teknaf

In the Teknaf pond in Cox's Bazar, two children sadly drowned and died. There is a report that one of them is a young Rohingya. Teknaf police station received the recovery of two children's bodies.

Rohingya Taslima (12), daughter of late Mohammad Shukkar of West West Satgharia para, and Riya Moni (12), daughter of Shamsul Alam of Maheshkhaliapara region of Teknaf, are the deceased children.

In the West Satgharia area of Teknaf, the tragedy happened on Monday at around 3:30 pm when the victim was bathing in Ghol Pond.

Residents assisted police in removing the two children's bodies from the pond, and they were taken to the Teknaf Model Police Station.

Muhammad Osman Gani, the officer-in-charge (OC) of the Teknaf Model Police Station, attested to the veracity of the information.
After being found, the two children's bodies were taken to the hospital.
