Rajshahi, Feb 10, (V7N) – A special operation titled “Operation Devil Hunt” has been launched by the joint forces in Rajshahi. The operation began at 3:30 PM from the headquarters of the Rajshahi Metropolitan Police, with the joint forces patrolling various parts of the city, including CNP Mor, Saheb Bazar Zero Point, Alu Patti Mor, and Talimari Mor.
 
While no patrols are scheduled during the day, checkpoints will be established during the night, according to Metropolitan Police spokesperson and Additional Deputy Police Commissioner Sabina Yasmin. She stated that the operation is part of a nationwide effort initiated on Saturday, aimed at enhancing security.
 
The operation follows a recent attack on the house of former Minister for Liberation War Affairs AKM Mozammel Haque in Gazipur, which led to several injuries and significant property damage. Following this incident, the Ministry of Home Affairs authorized this operation, which continues until further notice.
