Journalists must be vocal so that miscreants do not undermine this victory of the student movement: Pro Mia

Khulna, Aug 24 (V7N) — Professor Mia Golam Parwar, Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former MP, stated, “The interim government is actively working to promote good governance in the country. However, those aligned with fascism are trying to undermine this peaceful environment. It is crucial that the achievements of the student and people’s movement are not sabotaged by wrongdoers. Journalists and all citizens should raise their voices and unite to address any challenges.

Elections should be held only after necessary reforms are completed. We must strengthen our unity, as we are currently facing conspiracies. We have achieved this second freedom at the cost of many lives. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is committed to nation-building. We are confident that, with the unity of the people and the support of students, we will overcome any conspiracy, Inshallah.”

He made these remarks during a meeting with journalists at the Sonandangasth Al-Farooq Society in Khulna, organized by the Khulna Metropolitan Jamaat-e-Islami on the night of August 23. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, a central working council member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and assistant director for the Khulna region, was also present at the event.
