Bagerhat, Aug 30 (V7N) - On August 5, we achieved our second independence through the sacrifices of student movements, a triumph for equality and democracy. This success marks a significant step in consolidating democracy and countering corruption.
 
Following the directives of party leader Tarique Rahman, Dr. Sheikh Faridul Islam, Joint Convener of Bagerhat District BNP, urged vigilance among nationalist soldiers to prevent any attempts to destabilize the achievements by infiltrators or disruptors. Speaking at a peace and harmony rally organized by the BNP in Gaurambha Union, Ramapale, on August 30, Dr. Faridul Islam emphasized maintaining peace and stability.
 
He reassured that since August 5, people of all religions in Ramapale and Mongla have been safe, despite attempts by some to disrupt and extort. He stressed the need for a secure educational environment and freedom for women and business activities. He warned that any attempts to undermine the environment in the name of the party would be dealt with firmly in collaboration with the administration.
 
The rally, chaired by Master Mujibur Rahman, BNP leader of Gaurambha Union, also featured speeches from senior BNP figures including Mustafa Kamal Patowary Halim, Kazi Zahidul Islam, Asadur Rahman, Aminul Islam Kuti, Masudur Rahman Piyal, SM Alamgir Kabir Bachchu, and Kazi Ajiar Rahman.
