Dhaka, Oct 10 (V7N)— The results of this year's HSC and equivalent examinations, which were canceled midway, will be officially released on October 15, according to a circular issued by the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. Students will be able to access their results from 11:00 AM through their respective institutions and online platforms.

Unlike previous years, the results will not be formally inaugurated by the Chief Advisor of the interim government. Instead, each education board's chairman will announce the results.

The circular details how students can access their results:

The institution-wise result sheet can be downloaded from the websites: www.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd , www.educationboardresults.gov.bd, and www.eduboardresults.gov.bd. By entering the EIIN of the institution or using individual roll and registration numbers, students can view or download their results.

Students can also receive their results via SMS by typing: HSC <Board name> <Roll number> <Year> and sending it to 16222. For example, for a student from Dhaka, the format would be: HSC DHA 123456 2024.

The results, based on subject mapping from SSC or equivalent exams, will consider the marks achieved in subjects that were not tested in the HSC exams. Answer sheets for subjects that were already examined will be evaluated as usual, while for subjects not tested, marks from the SSC exams will be mapped according to the subject mapping policy.

This year's result publication follows an unprecedented disruption, but education board officials, including the President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, have ensured a fair method for determining student outcomes.
