The 6th International Loving Peace Art Competition, organized by high school student Humayra Afia in partnership with the International Women Peace Group (IWPG) of Korea, brought together young artists to express their empathy and vision for peace. Held at Rong Pencil Academy’s Uttara Branch on June 10, 2024, the event highlighted the theme "A Heart of Peace Conveyed to Friends Suffering from War," providing a meaningful platform for over 50 students from various schools.

Dhaka, June 16, 2024 The 6th International Loving Peace Art Competition, organized by Humayra Afia in collaboration with the International Women Peace Group (IWPG) of Korea, was held at Rong Pencil Academy’s Uttara Branch. Under the theme "A Heart of Peace Conveyed to Friends Suffering from War," the event provided a platform for young participants to express their empathy for those affected by war and share their visions for a peaceful world.

Humayra Afia, a high school student and last year’s first-place winner in the preliminary round as the sole representative from Bangladesh, played a pivotal role in organizing the competition. As an active member of IWPG and a participant in their Peace Lecturer Training Education (PLTE), Humayra's dedication to peace and art was evident throughout the event.

The competition saw enthusiastic participation from over 50 students from various schools. The program began with an inspiring speech by Humayra Afia, setting a hopeful tone and emphasizing the importance of peace and creativity in today's world.

The artworks were evaluated by two esteemed art teachers, Md. Khorshed Alam Jibon and Sabina Easmin, along with the assistance of four dedicated volunteers. The competition showcased impressive talent and compassion, as students conveyed powerful messages through their artistic expressions.
