Dhaka, July 17 (V7N)- The Education Ministry has ordered the immediate closure of all secondary and higher secondary educational institutions, including polytechnic institutes, due to safety concerns stemming from the ongoing quota reform protests.

The announcement was made on Tuesday via a press release signed by M.A. Khayer, the ministry's public relations officer.

Additionally, the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has postponed the HSC and equivalent exams scheduled for July 18. The revised dates for these exams will be announced later. However, the HSC and equivalent exams scheduled for July 21 will proceed as planned, according to the press release.
