Education Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Naufel said that the new education policy has been formulated to get out of evaluating the students with results. A major part of the new curriculum will be sports. He said these things at the opening ceremony of the 52nd National Sports Competition at the Rajshahi Liberation War Memorial Stadium on Wednesday (February 7) morning.

The education minister said, we have a kind of mentality that a student will be evaluated only by results. You have to get out of that idea. Results alone do not lead to universal development. To get out of such a concept, the new curriculum has been created. We hope to implement it in time.

The minister also said that sports will be included in our education program. A huge part of the new education policy is activity learning. He also commented that sports are very important there.
