Dhaka, Dec 30 (V7N) —Dhallywood actor and businessman Ananta Jalil has been summoned to appear in court in connection with a case over alleged non-payment of bills for work orders in a garment business.
The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) found initial evidence supporting the allegations against Ananta and five other accused in the case filed in a Dhaka court over a year ago.
Recently, Dhaka Metropolitan South PBI Inspector Tapas Chandra Pandit submitted a report to the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court of Dhaka, confirming the preliminary validity of the charges.
On Monday, Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Sanaullah issued summons for the accused to appear in court after reviewing the PBI report, Advocate Md Rafinur Rahman confirmed media.
