Jaipur, Mar 10 (V7N) – Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Tiger Shroff have landed in legal trouble over their endorsement of Bimal Elachi Pan Masala, as a Jaipur court issued them a legal notice for allegedly misleading consumers.

According to the Hindustan Times, the Jaipur Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission found that the advertisement’s tagline claimed that the product contains saffron grains, which a Jaipur resident, Yogendra Singh Badial, has challenged. The commission has also sent a notice to the chairman of the pan masala manufacturing company.

The court has ordered the actors and company representatives to appear before it on March 19 and submit a response within a month. The case was filed based on a complaint that the advertisement misleads buyers by making false claims about the product’s ingredients.

As of now, none of the three actors have commented on the legal notice. The case has once again sparked debate about celebrity responsibility in product endorsements, especially for controversial items like pan masala, which has faced criticism for its potential health risks.
