Dhaka, Apr 06 (V7N) – The recently released Eid film "Jungle," starring Siam Ahmed and Bubli, has garnered significant attention, not just from domestic audiences, but also from the South Indian film industries. Following the release of its trailer, many initially speculated that the film may have been inspired by South Indian cinema. However, those assumptions were proven wrong when it was revealed that both the Malayalam and Telugu film industries are interested in acquiring the remake rights of "Jungle."

The film's producer, Zahid Hasan Obi, confirmed that discussions are ongoing, with the deal expected to be finalized by this week. According to Obi, the film's editing was completed in Bangladesh, while the color grading was done in India, a collaboration that sparked interest from Indian production houses.

Obi shared that South Indian producers showed keen interest after viewing the rough cut of the film during its post-production phase. He explained, “Even before the dubbed version of our movie was sent abroad, the South Indian industry expressed their desire to buy the remake rights directly. We are in the final stages of negotiations, and everything will be confirmed by the end of this week.”

Once the deal is officially sealed, Obi plans to release further details regarding the production house acquiring the rights for the remake. The growing interest in "Jungle" highlights the potential for cross-border collaboration and sets the stage for the film to reach an even broader audience across South India.
