Mumbai, Nov 15 (V7N) — Bollywood actresses Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, and several others are reportedly under investigation for alleged links to parties organized by underworld gangster Dawood Ibrahim, India Today reported. The allegations surfaced during a probe by Mumbai’s Anti-Narcotics Cell into a major drug syndicate controlled by top dealer Salim Dola.
Salim Dola, believed to operate the syndicate from Dubai, had his son Taher Dola brought back from the UAE last August. Authorities obtained key information from Taher, who stated that numerous Bollywood actors, actresses, models, rappers, and filmmakers attended drug parties organized by the syndicate, both in India and abroad.
The list of individuals allegedly involved includes Shraddha Kapoor, her brother Siddharth Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, Alisha Parkar, Zeeshan Siddiqui, Oli alias Orhan, and directors Abbas-Mustan, among others.
Mumbai Police have stated that summons will soon be issued to these actors and actresses, and their statements will be recorded as part of the ongoing investigation.
Shraddha and Siddharth Kapoor previously acted together in the 2017 film Haseena Parkar, directed by Apoorba Lakhia, in which Siddharth portrayed Dawood Ibrahim and Shraddha played his sister.
