Popular Bollywood playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan encountered a shocking incident while performing on stage recently. During her performance at the Zenith-2024 festival of Sri Guru Ram Rai University in Dehradun, an unidentified individual threw a water bottle at her.

According to reports from Indian media outlet 'India.com', the incident occurred during Sunidhi Chauhan's energetic performance at the university event. The singer, dressed in a sparkly top, black shorts, and boots, was belting out some of her hit songs when the unexpected incident took place.

Witnesses recounted that as the water bottle came hurtling towards her, Sunidhi Chauhan swiftly dodged it, displaying quick reflexes. Addressing the situation, the singer paused briefly and questioned the act, asking aloud, "What is going on? Who's throwing bottles? Will the show be disrupted?"

Despite the unsettling interruption, Sunidhi Chauhan continued her performance, captivating the audience with her melodious voice. She treated the crowd to a medley of popular songs including 'Sheela Ki Jawani', 'Dhoom Machale', 'Crazy Kya Re', 'Desi Girl', 'Kamli', and 'Shaki Shaki'.

This incident comes in the wake of similar occurrences involving artists facing objects thrown at them while performing on stage. Just days ago, American pop singer Cardi B had a similar experience when a spectator threw a beer bottle at her during a concert. Such incidents highlight the need for heightened security measures and respect for artists' safety during public performances.
