Mumbai, Sep 19 (V7N) – After a nearly decade-long absence from the world of playback singing, celebrated singer Adnan Sami is making a much-awaited comeback. Known for his soulful melodies that captivated audiences across the subcontinent in the 90s and 2000s, Sami has remained out of the spotlight since 2010. However, he is set to return to Bollywood with two new films, Kasur and Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Wala, as reported by Hindustan Times.

In a recent interview, Sami shared details about his time away from music and his excitement about returning to playback. The singer explained that he had taken time off to rejuvenate himself and prepare for new musical trends. "Time passes quickly. I still feel like Bajrangi Bhaijaan just happened and I sang Bhar Do Jholi yesterday," Sami remarked, reflecting on how quickly the years have flown by.

Sami's absence from the music scene coincided with a significant physical transformation that saw him shed a large amount of weight, sparking conversations across social media. Despite making occasional public appearances, he did not engage in playback singing during this time.

Now fully prepared for his return, Sami has not only resumed recording songs but is also performing at concerts worldwide. He revealed that he is working on some independent music projects as well, calling it an important part of his life. While admitting to feeling a bit "lazy" during his break, Sami emphasized that for him, music is much more than just a business—it is a deeply emotional and passionate journey.

With his return to the recording studio, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of his new tracks, which are expected to rekindle the star’s iconic presence in the Bollywood music industry.
