The Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) has initiated its Annual Winter Exercise, 'WINTEX-2024', across all BAF Bases and Units starting yesterday. This exercise aims to assess the combat capabilities and strength of the Bangladesh Air Force while providing vital recommendations crucial for maintaining a credible air defense system in the future.

Participating in the exercise are BAF fighter aircraft, transport aircraft, helicopters, radar squadrons, Surface to Air Missile (SAM) units, and the Unmanned Aerial System Unit (UASU), alongside all BAF personnel. The exercise involves mastering a variety of air warfare tactics by the pilots of the Bangladesh Air Force.

The exercise is expected to significantly enhance the effectiveness of Bangladesh's air defense capability. Additionally, Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy, BGB, Bangladesh Police, Civil Defence, and BNCC (Air Wing) are actively participating in the exercise, ensuring comprehensive readiness across the country's defense forces.
