Eid-ul-Fitr festivities enveloped the entire nation today as communities came together to celebrate the joyous occasion. Following the sacred Eid-ul-Fitr prayers, worshippers exchanged heartfelt greetings in accordance with tradition, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie amongst friends and family members.

The day commenced with Eid prayers held in the morning, accompanied by preparations for festivities at homes across the country, infusing every corner with an air of jubilation.

At the National Eidgah Maidan adjacent to the High Court in the capital, the main congregation of Eid-ul-Fitr commenced at 8:30 am. Here, prayers were offered for the welfare and peace of the nation, its people, and the Muslim Ummah.

Simultaneously, the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque hosted the first congregation at 7 am, with subsequent congregations held alternately until 10:45 am, accommodating worshippers from all walks of life.

In Kishoreganj, the traditional Sholakia Eidgah Maidan witnessed a sea of devotees as the 197th Eid-ul-Fitr congregation took place at 10 am, marked by stringent security measures and maximum precautions.

Meanwhile, in Dinajpur, the Gor-e-Shaheed Maidan hosted a significant Eid Jamaat, drawing Muslims from surrounding districts to offer prayers at nine in the morning, followed by supplications for the nation's well-being.

Sylhet reverberated with the echoes of prayers as thousands gathered for the main Eid congregation at the Shahi Eidgaon Maidan and the Sylhet Government Aliya Madrasah ground, both witnessing overflowing participation.

In Khulna, the circuit house ground was the focal point for Eid prayers, supplemented by arrangements in every ward of the city, with special provisions made to accommodate worshippers amidst adverse weather conditions.

Barisal witnessed a vibrant celebration as the main Eid congregation unfolded at the Hemayetuddin Eidgah Maidan, alongside the largest congregation of the district at Charmonai Darbar Sharif Maidan, attracting numerous devotees.

Chittagong resonated with the spirit of Eid as the main congregation took place at the Jamiatul Falah National Mosque premises, with additional congregations organized across 41 wards of the city.

In Rajshahi, the Shah Makhdoom Eidgah hosted the main Eid-ul-Fitr prayer, drawing participants from diverse backgrounds, while Eid Jamaat gatherings were held in various wards, including Rajshahi University.

Finally, in Mymensingh district, Muslims convened at approximately 2500 locations for Eid-ul-Fitr prayers, with the main congregation held at the Anjuman Eidgah ground, followed by a second congregation, culminating in prayers for the nation's prosperity and well-being.
