Dhaka, July 18 (V7N) – Outgoing Ambassador of the European Union to Bangladesh, Charles Whiteley, expressed the desire for a swift resolution to the current situation in Bangladesh, emphasizing the need to avoid further violence and bloodshed.
 
Whiteley conveyed his brief remarks through his social media handle on Wednesday.
 
"This week, I have met many talented Bangladeshi students," Whiteley noted. He added that next week, they will gather all Bangladeshi Erasmus scholars before they head to Europe for their studies.
 
The Ambassador's comments reflect the concern of Bangladesh's friends and partners about the ongoing unrest and their hope for a peaceful resolution.
