Dhaka, Oct 18 (V7N) – Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Senior Joint Secretary General of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), has accused the current government of orchestrating power outages in various districts to create instability. He made these remarks on Friday morning at Chandrima Udyan in the capital while paying respects at the tomb of the party’s founder, Ziaur Rahman, on the occasion of the silver jubilee of the Ziaur Rahman Foundation.

Rizvi criticized the ongoing situation in the country, claiming that Bangladesh remains under the "violent clutches of dictatorship." He further accused the Awami League's associates of continuing acts of sabotage, contributing to the instability.

Addressing the interim government, Rizvi urged for caution and demanded that the upcoming elections be held without delay, emphasizing that the reform work should not be prolonged. He also called on all democratic forces to unite to prevent the return of what he described as a "fallen dictatorship."
