Dhaka, Mar 15 (V7N) – BNP Chairperson's advisor Zainul Abdin Faruk has expressed concern over statements made by student leaders after the formation of a new political party, suggesting that it hints at a conspiracy similar to the one during the 1/11 period under the rule of Moinuddin-Fakhruddin.
He made these remarks during a discussion on national elections and state stability at the National Press Club on Saturday.
Faruk warned that delaying the elections could result in the interim government losing public support. He emphasized that the government’s primary focus should be on conducting fair elections after implementing necessary electoral reforms.
His statement comes amid ongoing political debates over the future of the country's electoral system and governance structure.
